Cafes in Bandung,Indonesia.

If you have been following me on Instagram, you'd probably noticed that I was away for 2 weeks in Indonesia with a bunch of wonderful friends from all around the world.
It was a super random and impulsive trip because I had less than a week to decide whether to go or not after getting an email from the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia. ;D

Phew! Cut the long story short, I said yes, hopped on the plane and went to a full culinary journey in Bandung, Makkasar, Semarang & Bali.
We were all pampered & fed like kings and queens the entire trip. The first two days we were in Bandung, covering 3-5 cafes a day so here's a compiled list that I think you should pay a visit.

1. One Eighty Coffee Music

Reasons to visit:
A pool in the middle of the cafe whereby you can dip your feet and cool yourself down on a scorching hot weather. It's like an oasis in the desert. A plethora of fusion dishes & coffee to choose from. Mostly east-meet-west cuisine like stir fry noodle, burgers, steaks, pizza... Vietnamese coffee, local coffee and filtered coffee. Plus point when you can get their in house roasted beans here.

Address:
One Eighty Coffee & Music
Jl. Ganesha No.3, Bandung
Phone: +6282218000155

Opening Hours:
Mon – Thur & Sun 08.00 – 23.00
Fri – Sat 08.00 – 00.00

2. Two Hands Full

Reasons to visit:
Kygo/Honnes music are in the loop of their playlist. Nothing fascinates me more when a cafe has good music taste. Same goes to their food. Sampled a few mains, desserts & coffee. Not a single item let me down. The best benchmark for aspiring new cafes to look up to.

Address:
Jalan Sukajadi No.198A, Pasteur,
Sukajadi, Pasteur,
Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat 40162, Indonesia

3- Mimiti Coffee & Space

Reasons to visit:
Very photogenic place. Every corner is easily instagramable & al-fresco dining area allows you to soak in the sun while enjoying coffee. Specialty here is the coconut coffee whereby they used coconut water instead of normal water to brew their coffee, hence rendering a refreshing & bittersweet aftertaste. Some find it weird but I quite like the quirky combination.

Address:
Jl. Karang Sari No.1
Setiabudi, Bandung

Opening Hours: 08.00 – 20.00

4. Kuro Koffee

Reason to visit:

Small quaint place, can only fit a maximum of 10 pax. Great cold brew (black & white). You can also get some ceramics cup here for a very reasonable price too.

Address:
Papaya Supermarket
Jl. Sukaasih No. 1, Sukajadi, Bandung

5) Cups Cafe

Reasons to visit:

Floor to ceiling glass panel, ample of sunlight spilling into the restaurant which makes every corner of this place insta-worthy. There's also a rooftop/outdoor seating if you prefer to enjoy the breeze than the ac. Desserts are decently good and hearty portion. Love the eggettes waffle with ice cream.

Address:
Address: Jl. Trunojoyo No.25, Citarum,
Bandung Wetan, Kota Bandung,
Jawa Barat 40115, Indonesia

Honestly speaking, the cafes here are as good as the ones I found in Melbourne & Malaysia (or maybe better in some cases), from the knowledge in coffee, services and also the foods are really up to par if you ask.
If you ever plan to visit Indonesia, do consider visiting this vibrant city!

(or maybe you shouldn't think too much, just visit
