The Kitchen Table@ Damansara Kim

It was the first Sunday of October, what's better way to spend than pampering one self with a good breakfast/brunch?

I don't go out for breakfast often (mostly because my pantry are always filled with food and I feel obligated to eat at home), but when I do, I will be particularly choosy. I love settling down a place that serves breakfast that is colourful, healthy, substantial, or at least, instagram-worthy, and now I've found a new place to add into my list.

(  Thirdwave has my heart, you can read my previous post here. )

Long black. RM10

Toasted Granola with Fruit Salad &Milk RM8.90

Rooibos Tea.

Roast Chicken, Honey & Thyme, Carrot & Beet Slaw & Sourdough RM15.90

(Please don't mind the 'Chao Dar' - (Charred skin) I don't think this affect much to the taste of the delectable chicken meat, do forgive if I didn't successfully captured the 'yum' factor. )

Pulled Pork, Carrot &Beet slaw, Salsa & Sourdough RM12.50

Fry up - pork sausage, streaky bacon, scrambled eggs, grilled tomato &baked beans RM 24

French toast crunch, cornflakes, macerated strawberries, gula Melaka syrup RM 15

Ps: This was a stealthy shot of strangers I took in the restaurant.
Just thought of capturing the unadulterated smile that this guy was wearing when he's looking at her. That 'something' that couldn't be seen, only to be felt.

The menu here is pretty straight forward, nothing fancy, simple yet delicious. The ambiance was great too, white-themed interior, sufficient windows to allow some natural lights to pour in and I think it is a good place to dine-in and have a soft conversation with friends.

Though the granola I ordered tasted rancid, which I suspect it was because of the sunflower seed and hazelnut they used. I told the amicable staff and he'd happily replace another item on the menu for me, which I thought it was a very good courtesy.

I took a glanced on their dinner menu before I left , guess what's next?

  1. Hi Eunice, we have this restaurant on our list too - heard that they do a good fried chicken too but their lunch menu is limited hor. Pulled pork looks good!

    1. Me too! Heard that their Fried chicken are superb. Will drop by for their dinner... probably with KC again? Haha.. ^^

  2. Jason and I went for one of their Supper Club sessions last year (before they started Kitchen Table) and the food was mind-blowing. We particularly loved Marcus' duck confit with watercress and Mei Wan's Petit Four. Anyhow we still haven't find the time to visit the restaurant yet. Will do soon. :)

    1. Yeah. They keep their menu small to have better QC I guess. :) I can't wait to see your post .. :P
I will drop one of the day for their dinner. ^^

  3. French toast with the gula melaka looks yummy! Maybe that's because I like anything with gula melaka in it! LOL!

    1. Heh! The gula melaka was subtle though. :P
The most authentic way to savour gula melaka is by eating with cendol. .. yumm

  4. That sausage and bacon and eggs for me, please. Looks gorgeous, certainly puts my sausage breakfast platter to shame. Lovely candid shot, very romantic.

  5. I guess you mean the smile of love in the picture of the two strangers?

The dishes all look so tasty that I don't know which one I should choose. ^^
