Diners to Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel’s Celestial Court are in for a splendid delight as the award-winning restaurant offers an “All You Can Eat Dim Sum” special, available till end of the year.

With more 70 dishes, the scrumptious menu offers great value. You can choose from various delectable dim sum, served steamed, pan-fried, deep-fried, stir-fried or baked. True to his unique creative styles, Chef Ken Liew will not disappoint with his array of traditional and innovative dim sum dishes.

Celestial Steamed Jumbo 'Har Gao' with Asparagus

Bouncy diced prawns and thinly chopped crunchy asparagus wrapped with translucent dough to form a mini parcel and simply garnished with golden shallot.
The prawns used was fresh and sweet. Each bite provides a fresh bursting of seafood flavour.

Crab Meat and Minced Seafood Mini Bun in homemade tom yam broth

A little thai-inspired dish with oriental dumpling. The tom yam broth was so aromatic without being too spicy till it numbs the tongue. The sourish characteristic and spicy 'kick' in this particular dish did successfully whet up my appetite too. I love how chef added the crab meat and beautifully crafted spring onion to brush up the entire dish .

A very appetising dish that is best served in the beginning of the meal. *chomp*

Soya Bean Skin Rolls with Sea cucumber, chicken and prawn in sun-dried scallop sauce

A lighter selection on the dim sum menu. The core filling was wrapped layer by layer with soy bean skin and white cabbage and drenched with scallop sauce.

Yam Puff with assorted meat and mushroom in miso flavoured filling.

I took a bite, then I thought I was sent to heaven, figuratively.
Soft and fluffy yam paste enclosed with mega crunchy and delicate exterior.
The meat and mushroom filling at the bottom was marvellously seasoned, just enough to elevate the deliciousness of the yam puff. All in all, I would say that this is a very well balanced dish in terms of flavour, texture, and presentation. Brilliant.

Pan-Seared Stuffed Scallop with Shrimp mousse and pumpkin Puree

Chef Ken makes no compromise whenever it comes to freshness of ingredients, especially seafood.
“I love to cook with seafood because it is an incredible challenge! It takes skills to work with seafood. The balance is all about preparing it without under or over cooking it. Tricky, but I like it,” says this fun-loving chef.
Having two decades worth of experience with the steamer got a lot to do with his
well-honed art of crafting dainty dim sum as above.

I noticed how much effort is being placed into the dish just by judging on its appearance.
Lightly pan-fried till golden on both sides of the scallop, and creatively paired with shrimp mousse and pumpkin puree.
Who could ever thought of combining two unordinary ingredients together to form an irresistible delicacy?
The orangey fish roe no doubt added a sensuous touch to the scallop too.

Roast Duck Meat served with pan-fried buns, pickled cabbage and mushroom.

Deep-fried stuffed Lotus Root served with minced meat and assorted mushroom.

And if you prefer to indulge in more than just dim sum, the “All You Can Eat” menu also includes other mouth-watering a la carte delights, whipped by Chef Vincent Loo. You can expect a burst of flavourful aromas when you opt for the selections of soups, vegetables, poultry dishes, seafood specials, rice and noodles and more!

delicious Roast Duck, Fresh Oysters and Chinese Barbeque Chicken.
