Breakfast - RM15
Mushroom soup - RM6
Mocha - RM 9

To serve breakfast is ordinary, but to make perfect breakfast that one couldn't get enough is not an easy task, but I am glad that Wood & Steel made it. Sausage, eggs, baked beans and lightly toasted garlic bread, they are all common constituent in a breakfast platter, but yet, they do not taste the same in Wood & Steel, they are far better compared to any other places, I would say.

Attention to details is a skill here, not just on the interior design and the nostalgic 19's & 20's songs playing through the speakers ,but also on their food .
Imagine the most humble baked beans can be cooked in a way that everyone loves, not just straight out from the can and heat it. When we told chef that we love his baked beans, he grinned from ear to ear and replied with pride :'' It's my secret recipe ''. ;)

Well, of course I am able to (at least) detect some of the secret ingredients that he put in, but I would not reveal here (Just to stir up your curiousity a lil bit ). The taste of the ordinary sausages and scrambled egg was elevated by the use of spices & herbs;Their mushroom soup was fantastic too, it was extraordinarily creamy and thick. Each luscious spoonful I took accompanied by the fragrance of the mushroom literally sent me away to cloud nine.
It was truly a nice hang out spot for breakfast, coffees and cakes.
