''This is the day , my God has made, I've got a reason to celebrate...''
I remembered that was the most memorable day since the beginning of my 5th semester because the lecturer CANCELLED the afternoon class. (Ps: I have classes to attend everyday from 9-5pm , what a pathetic life yea) Hence, my friends and I grabbed this opportunity to treat ourselves to Acme, a place that I've been wanting to go since decades ago.

Pretty simple and clean-cut interior with mostly black and white themed color ; ample of natural lights and contemporary woody tables and chairs.
Hot Chocolate RM15

I love the velvety smooth and rich body of the chocolate, however it was slightly too sweet for my liking.

A Jar of Detox (Apple ,Carrot, Celery, Ginger) RM17 ; Latte RM15

'A Jar of Detox' tasted remarkably refreshing. The first sip successfully quenched my thirst , it not just soothes the throat but also calms the soul on a scorching hot sunny day ; The latte was ordinarily good, but I was expecting to see some latte art on it.

Hebi Aglio Olio RM31 ; Mac &Cheese RM27
I think, I suppose this was the first perfect spaghetti that I've ever tasted so far . The pasta was cooked til al-dente,  lovely texture, and the sambal hebi (Chili shrimp paste)  sure does pack a punch in flavours. It wasn't too spicy but there's a chili kick in every mouthful and there were so many succulent prawns in my plate! I almost lost count! Not to forget to mention the asparagus goes very well with the sambal hebi too!

The Mac and Cheese was utterly creamy, the elbow macaroni was remarkably al-dente, I took so much pleasure savoring every mouthful, oh please don't remind me how sinful it was! *touch belly*
Mullet Fillet RM39

The  Mullet fish was perfectly cooked, lightly seasoned and had a delicately crispy skin ; The bouillabaisse sauce alone tasted fantastic,  but when it is eaten together with the fish, they both complemented each other.  The croquette at the side awed me too, no, it wasn't filled with mash potatoes or some kind of meat like the usual croquette, but rice. Yes, herbs rice precisely. The starchy rice was shaped into a ball and coated with some crumbs before they deep fry it. It was delicately crunchy on the outside, somewhat sticky and fragrant on the inside. All in all, I love the aroma of this dish that lingers in my  mouth, and  it was an astounding dish to me.
Sizzling Brownie RM19

Next, comes the visually orgasmic, mind-blowing and most importantly salivatingly delicious sizzling brownie. Everywhere sells brownie, brownie is as common as fried chicken, aside from the taste of course, the plating and the way of presenting it makes it stand out among other brownies. The sesame ice cream goes so well with the piping hot brownie, though I can barely taste any sesame in it.  Apart from savoring the yumminess of the chocolate brownie, by visualizing the bubbling chocolate sauce and listening to the sizzling sound adds another feeling-good vibe to all my senses. I loved the slice of strawberry sitting on top of the ice cream to give it a lil contrast to the color too.
We also ordered the pavlova, but it was forgettable. My friends and I were busy fork-fighting for the brownies and we barely touch the pavlova.

However, when everything was being mopped up , the gluttons did not feel satisfied. So we decided to order another two slices of cakes. ( We fell head to toes over the desserts at the display counter , they are all too beautiful !)
Ugly Chocolate Cheesecake ; Lemon Poppyseed cake , both RM15.

We made our order according to the name of the cakes , and instead of the beautiful ones, our attention drew to the VERY UGLY CHOCO CHEESECAKE. Not very ugly as I thought though and I think they should name their lemon poppy seed cake zombie cake . The choco cheesecake did not meet up to my expectation, the chocolate and cheese taste were merely detectable, but I still love them for being not-too-sweet.  Aside from the popping texture of the lemony poppy seed , there's nothing else to brag about the cake.

Acme is certainly an ideal place for friends to catch up over a lunch. Their mains and deserts were really good. Acme also offers breakfast and dinner menu, so do hop over and check them out ! It is just 5 minutes drive from KLCC .
