One of the newest burger restaurant has surfaced in SS15, Subang Jaya.
Burger is omnipresent , in order to be outstanding, this burger restaurant had think out of the bowl , the creatively named Crayon Burger have successfully stand out from their competitors by offering colorful buns that is visually darling to the eye.
Not-quite-similar to burger lab,  Crayon Burger do not offer Charcoal Bun, but Vege Bun(green) , Red Velvet bun(red), Milk bun(ordinary white) , and Red Yeast bun(pink).

 The Blackboard menu.

The Zombie RM14

A exceedingly catchy name -zombie!
You can easily scan through a plethora of poppy seed coating the bun, it was a terrific sight  to me,
but the overall taste was pleasurable.

The beef itself was okay, but not impressive and forgettable.
We ordered set by paying additional RM5 to get bottomless soft drinks and fries.

I wish the patty could be slightly juicier and more flavor by spicing'em up a little.
Preferably black pepper? Just my two cents.
On the other hand, the bun was great, it was light and fluffy ;and when you compress it , you can still savor the dense texture of the bun.

Nic is trying to mimic his idol - Gordon Ramsey by using those bombastic words to describe food. ;P

.....and look at his rich expressions.

Peanut Butter & Bacon RM15

The insult to this burger injury is that you're going to find yourself forking over 15 bones for this sub-par burger. That's RM15 just for the burger! No fries, not even a pickle.
I have opted vege burger to match with peanut butter and bacon...
I still find that MyBurgerLab does it better... you can read my review here on 11th Sept 12 .

I always have high expectation when it comes to Peanut Butter, alas  ,the burger did not met my expectation.
The bacon alone was great, in fact, there does not exist a food that does not go well with bacon and peanut butter; I also found that the  patty was under-seasoned as well. The overall burger was just a tad too dry for me, I will consider to bring my own honey mustard there next time!

The Boss - Chicken RM16

Another jaw-dropping burger, for a whopping RM16.
The Boss, however was not disappointing . It was the wasabi mayo that did a great lift up for this burger by providing some moisture to it.

I was happy because I got myself a love-shaped sunny side egg !
The Boss also comes with two deep fried onion rings.

Okay. Look, I do not have as gigantic mouth as Nic, hehehehe. Hence it explained the defective chomp that I've made on the picture above .

The Boss was my favorite among these three. They uses whole chicken thigh instead of minced chicken as the patty and it was juicier compared to the beef patty. Needless to mention the wasabi mayo and the egg that gives an extra flavor to the sub-par burger. The red velvet bun also wins a place in my heart because of its very profound color.

Now this is how you enjoy a burger...

I however love how they managed to fry a heart-shaped egg. I can't even fry a perfect sunny-side to save my soul.

Oh, hey, did you run into Sean when you were there? I saw that he has written a review on this outlet too...

The love shaped sunny side egg was the only memorable substance among the three entire burgers. Lol!
