Santouka Ramen @ Pavilion

First and for all I apologize for such low quality pictures in this post because all photos were taken using Samsung S3.

I went to try Santouka long time ago, and I haven't had the time to post it, so today, here is it!
it's located inside Tokyo Street, Level 6.

A varieties of ramens display at the front counter to welcome us.

Chashu Ramen with chili oil.
There's a lot of bamboo shoots 'hiding' inside the soup.Which I don't really like it.

Cha-shu rice .

Too much of rice, too less meat, I ended up not finishing the rice at the bottom.
Flavor wise- um, not impressive but not forgettable either.
Complimentary salad.
Love the white sesame sauce in it...
White sesame has it's very own special pungency that is capable of 'jazzing' the entire salad up.

My complete set of ramen.

Generous portion of ramen.

Big size cha-shu, smaller than Menya Mushashi.

Tori Karaage.
Very salty and tough for me... I guess they fry it for too long..

er, I love their soup.. broth were silky and mouth-watering.

Overall it wasn't a pleasing meal for me.. ;)

For better ramen, I think you should visit Here .

  1. I think I'll stick to our own local noodles... Should be cheaper...and probably a lot nicer too.
