Beef Glass Noodle. RM16Smile

The illustration in the menu of this particular bowl of glass noodle looks super mouth-watering.
So does the original ones! The broth of the soup was very rich in flavor, although it doesn't show. It was very well flavored with the chinese 'five herbs' , chives and corriander.

I was having a really good time slurping the smooth and gluey glass noodle down to my throat... Besides the generous amount of noodle they serve, they also gives a generous amount of beef meats too!
The beef was tenderly marinated beforehand, I can literally tell the difference ! It was super tantalizing!

Never thought I could find such places that offers the perfect snow ice for me.
I was totally smitten. Look at that generous amount of red bean they gave...and the sinful, creamy and aromatic black sesame ice cream on top of the snow ice...

It was certainly a gift from God..
The ice were remarkably smooth , and it melts immediately when it enters your mouth..
The shaved ice wasn't too sweet , every single element in it was just nice!
I was enchanted.

Sa cha Noodles

The sa cha noodle taste very appetizing at the first bite!

However, I realize that they'd actually uses alkali noodle , which gives a brackish and 'alkali' flavor in this dish..

I was so disappointed because the sauce , the meat, the flavor, the very-well balanced flavored had been spoiled by the alkali noodles (aka yellow mee). ;/
Anyway, it's just me being bias, you can still opt for this if you don't mind the brackish flavor (I know I am an picky eater)!

Fruity Tea. The fruity tea deserve a shout out!
It was so pure and refreshing, the sweet and fruity scented simply encapsulated my heart.
 I strongly recommend it!

Chicken Rice Set.Smile
I love the set menu in Fong Lye as I think it's worth every single penny I pay for.

It comes with soup, rice, side dishes such as vege, dessert and also appetizer that is so capable of filling you up before you start with your main entree.

Rice with braised pork.

Side dish.
I love their steamed white chicken because it's so soft and tender.. the meat weren't too tough and the bright-yellowish shimmering skin of the chicken certainly beckons me to eat it!

The rice were slightly soaked with some pork gravy , which is super appetizing..

Totally like it!

and not to forget the side dishes that comes with the set.. The long bean tasted ordinarily good, still crunchy and juicy;and the mini golden parcel is actually dessert- it's sweet peanut filling inside!

Oh Chien (Fried Oyster Omelette)

Wasn't sure what's that sauce used on top of the omelette. Taste like chili but not chili or tomato either.

However, back to the taste.. The flat oyster omelette was not very impressive . The egg flavor wasn't strong enough to make me fall for it.... at the center of the omelette lies a thick gluey-starch ...

The oyster given were so pathetic, I can even count with my fingers... like..around 6 or 7 tiny little creature found in my oh chien. What a disappointment. ;(

Roasted Chicken setSmile
Forgive me for not able to recall or jot down the price beforehand.
But believe me, all the set menu definitely worth the price.

My roasted chicken comes with a bowl of rice , side dishes and a bowl of soup.

The lard-flavored gravy was superb, it goes so well with the white rice, and it certainly whets my appetite!!!

I couldn't help but order another bowl of rice .The chicken taste absoulutely delicious too! It was sweet, and slightly charred, not only that, the meat was sooo supple and delicious.. it melts in your mouth!
I suspect they use meat tenderizer , but, who cares? Just eat!!

*Double thumbs up for this*

XXL Fried Chicken!

I am already drowning in my own saliva when Im writing this.

The extraordinarily crispy fried XXL chicken comes in two huge size.

Each slice is as big as about the palm of your hand.. With a small bowl of rice drench in some porkilicious gravy..

This is one of the fabulous meal I've eaten throughout the week!

The XXL Fried Chicken was super, mega crunchy and crispy, with a dash of chili powder at the surface of the bubbling skin , the inner part of the chicken was, however remaining soft and juicy, tender and pipping hot throughout the meal!

I was delighted and very satisfied with the price and service.

The service was fast and efficient.. you can see waiters running errands to serve their customers without lazing around...
Will certainly be back for their XXL chicken and the red bean snow ice if I have cravings for Taiwanese Cuisine!

Vivien & Rick
They are the most vulnerable friend and leader of mine!
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do, but to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.
You won't realize the distance you've walked until you take a look around and realize how far you've been.
And looking back at the past, we've been spending time together for approximately 6 years, growing up spiritually... (and still growing )...

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
It is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
Or to provide you with guidance and support,
To aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When people come into your life for a SEASON,
It is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.
They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall,
The season eventually ends.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
Those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person anyway;
And put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being part of my life,
Whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Lurve you both loads!

Wruuf wruuf!
