226 - Things You Should Stop Doing Right Now.

1. SMOKING

We all know the health hazards associated with smoking, and we all know how expensive it can be, and how horribly nasty it smells. So why do we do it? This all-around health, money, and beauty drain has to go first! This is the absolute number-one thing to stop doing… now!

2. BINGE DRINKING

It’s surprising and horrifying how many young people regularly binge drinkbefore they’re even old enough to buy a drink. It’s illegal. It’s dangerous. It can lead to other risky behaviors. So why do it? Stop now!

3. EATING OUT

This isn’t nearly as dangerous as the first two things to stop doing, but it’s up there… because the dangers, while not as immediate, are long-lasting and just as deadly — to your health and your wallet. Eat at home, where you can control the portions, ingredients, and budget.

4. HAVING UNSAFE SEX

Aside from the deadly dangers of HIV/AIDS, there’s a whole range of other risks involved in unsafe sex, like unplanned pregnancy and life-long sexually-transmitted diseases, like herpes or HPV. Buy condoms BEFORE you think you might need them, and use them.

5. SITTING ON THE COUCH

What’s the best way to keep healthy and trim and happy? Regular exercise. So what do you need to stop doing? Sitting on the couch, watching reruns of Dexter, eating chips. Get up! Get off the couch! Move it! move it!


6. HATING YOURSELF (OR ANYONE ELSE)

This life you have, this person you are, is the only one you’ll get. Don’t waste another minute on self-loathing, or on hating anyone else, for that matter. Is there something you don’t like about yourself? Change it. Is there something you don’t like about someone else? If they’re your friends, help them change it. If they’re not, ignore it. Move on. Spread joy.yeah, spread joy! ^^




7. BEING ANGRY

Let’s face it. It takes a LOT of energy to be angry with someone. And a lot of time. Wouldn’t you rather spend that time and energy on someone who deserves it? Let go of the anger, ditch the frenemies, and move on.

  10. Smoking tops my list too - it's RM 0.50 per cigarette and a huge financial drain if you're a heavy smoker. The worst thing is you don't realize it until you find yourself making trips to 7-11 to get two packs a day. :x
